Shazad has experience of more than 34 years and has led multiple renowned financial institutions in Pakistan and USA. Shazad has executed over 100 transactions with a notional value of over USD125 billion.
Shazad started off his career at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc, New York and swiftly rose to the rank of Managing Director, Head of Americas M&A, for Technology, Media and Telecommunications. Subsequently, he moved to Pakistan as Chief Executive Officer for Deutsche Bank, where he turned around the franchise’s profitability. Thereafter, he joined Barclays Pakistan as Managing Director and Head of Regional Transaction Services Steering Committee for Asia, India, UAE and Pakistan. Most recently, he served as CEO of Standard Chartered Pakistan and a member of the Africa Middle East Regional Executive Committee before taking the helm of United Bank Limited as Chief Executive & President.
Shazad has held esteemed positions such as President of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) Pakistan, Chairman of the Pakistan Banks’ Association, and Chairman of the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange. He presently serves as Chairman of MUFAP and on the Boards of Mashreq Digital Bank Pakistan, Pakistan International Airlines Holding Company Limited (PIAHCL). Shazad is also involved in numerous charitable causes and currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Development in Literacy Pakistan—an organization dedicated to providing low-cost, high-quality education to underprivileged children, especially girls and is on the board of Kashf Foundation, a leading non-banking microfinance institution promoting women’s economic empowerment.
Shazad launched Dada Partners after identifying a significant gap in the market for bespoke, high-quality advisory services. He recognized that trusted, tailored, and deeply informed advice would be a major value-add to Pakistan’s increasingly sophisticated investment banking environment.
Shazad is a graduate with honors from University of Pennsylvania with Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Arts degrees and has an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
Shahzad has nearly 30 years of professional experience. Shahzad has worked for Big 4 firms in Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Pakistan in various capacities ranging from Assurance, Client Advisory to Quality and Risk Management. Formerly, Shahzad was also the Head of Audit at Standard Chartered Bank responsible for audits covering Pakistan, Global Islamic Banking and Corporate Banking Coverage for Africa, Middle East, Europe and Americas.
Client engagement includes a broad base spanning from large national and multinational clients, to clients listed on ASX, DFM, Tadawul, FTSE and NYSE exchanges. Shahzad has worked with clients on Transaction Advisory, Business Valuations, Restructuring, Financial Due Diligence, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Accounting Advisory, Business Process Outsourcing, and IFRS conversion engagements.
Shahzad is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Aamir Shaukat Hussain is a consultant, chartered accountant, and trainer with 19+ years of professional experience. Aamir has over a decade of experience working with PwC in the financial sector. Aamir has led several large sized consulting projects during his association with PwC. Aamir was also leading Internal Audit Divisions in the two largest banks in Pakistan.
His expertise includes Transaction Advisory, Financial Due Diligence, Assurance, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Governance, Compliance, IFRS, Technology Assurance and Data Analytics. Aamir has also been a member of the board of directors and board audit committee chairman at one of the renowned international nonprofit organisation. He also provides training to the board of directors of listed companies on governance and emerging themes.
Hussain is the Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance and transaction advisory services. He was part of Big 4 Advisory firm, KPMG, where he worked on multiple buy and sell side mandates, valuations, and financial due diligence across sectors such as Asset Management Companies, Power and Energy, FMCG, Banking, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
He also worked in project finance and infrastructure advisory, where he structured hospitality, real estate, and energy projects, developed feasibility studies, and arranged capital through debt and equity placements. His experience further includes managing financial planning and analysis for a UAE-based employer, where he handled board reporting, investor relations, and fundraising tasks. In the asset management industry, he contributed to the strategy and structuring of fixed income products while also driving business development initiatives.
Muhammad Anwar ul Hasan Khan has extensive experience across banking, law, mining, construction, insurance, FMCG, and publishing, with a strong track record in financial strategy, investment optimization, and project execution. He has led research teams, built financial models, analyzed market trends, and advised clients on investment decisions. Currently, he leads large scale consulting projects at Dada Partners, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion.
Ali Abid is a Finance graduate from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, with diverse experiences across multiple sectors including both financial and nonfinancial institutions. His expertise spans across financial analysis, investment strategies, and M&A advisory. Throughout his career, Ali has worked with prominent organizations, allowing him to develop a strong foundation in corporate finance and deal advisory, along with a sound understanding of the operational and technical intricacies of a business.
Umme Laila has professional experience in deal advisory and asset management. She was part of KPMG’s Deal Advisory team, where she advised on infrastructure and real estate projects under public-private partnership (PPP) frameworks. Her work focused on financial modeling, transaction structuring, and the preparation of key project documentation. She also gained experience in the asset management industry, where she managed separately managed accounts, overseeing portfolio performance and investment strategy. Umme Laila is currently pursuing her MS in Economics from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi.
Rayyan Imran Khan is an Economics graduate from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), he has dynamic financial experience with a robust analytical background, transitioning from equity research at Al Habib Asset Management Limited to an advisory investment banking role. He brings value add to the team by leveraging deep-dive analytical skills in equity research and financial modelling to deliver comprehensive valuation insights and strategic financial recommendations.
